Dear Supporter,
Concerts in Crieff – celebrating our 60th Season!
We are delighted to present our 2025-26 concert brochure, which contains a box of delights to see you through the winter. Our main season opens with The Road to the Isles, featuring the music of the Hebrides, collected and arranged by Marjorie Kennedy Fraser. This is followed by the prize-winning Trio Archai with cellist Finn Mannion, known to many in Crieff, then a welcome back to the Resol Quartet. In the new year we welcome the Chloe Piano Trio, all things woodwind from the Thistle Trio, and finish with violin and accordion from ADlibitum.
In addition to our main programme, we are delighted to offer two standalone concert. In celebration of our sixtieth season, Classical Musicians Scotland will present A Night at the Opera on Wednesday 22nd October. Four soloists, a chamber orchestra and music from Handel to Lehar makes this an occasion not to be missed. Tickets for this and our ever-popular summer jazz concert, given this year by Les Trois Blondes, are £16, and will be available separately.
Our season ticket offer is £60 and remains exceptional value, giving you six concerts for the price of four. If you are unable to attend you may pass your ticket to a friend, and your season ticket also entitles you to a discount at other East of Scotland Music Society concerts.
If you would like to buy a subscription then please complete the accompanying application form and bring it to the first concert. Payment can be made on the night by cash or cheque but I an afraid that, because of the terms of our agreement with the bank, we cannot accept card payments for subscriptions. Alternatively, if you would like to pay by BACS then please do so using your surname as the payment reference. Membership Application Form.
We look forward to welcoming you to St Andrew’s Halls on 24th September.
Doors open at 7pm and all concerts begin at 7:30pm.
With many thanks for your continued support.
