Rachel Podger has established herself as a leading interpreter of the Baroque and Classical periods. She was the first woman to be awarded the prestigious Royal Academy of Music / Kohn Foundation Bach Prize in 2015, and was Gramaphone Artist of the Year 2018. She was a Wigmore Hall Artist in Residence 2019-20 with her ensemble Brecon Baroque.
